| Thanks to the community, Project Diva F 2nd is by far my favourite video game ever. This is the FINAL Project Diva game to support fanmade content. Charts and Music Videos are made easily from within the games' edit mode. The community is still making edits now in 2023, and I expect it to continue until and beyond the shut down of PSN, whenever that may be.
Graphics: 10 Genuinely the best looking PS3 game I've ever seen. Even tops Project Diva Future Tone, a PS4 game. Some of the music videos here in particular are stunning, like 2D Dream Fever and Melt. Kagerou Daze also has a very unique music video, and is yet to be in any other Diva game. Sound: 10 If you like Hatsune Miku (or Rin/Len/Luka/Kaito/Meiko) songs, you'll love the songs in this game. While not as good as the original F, or X, this game has a great song selection. Gameplay: 8 Might just be my high skill level, but could do with some more difficulty. Community made charts definitely fill this hole in though, some of them are near impossible! Installing fanmade content can be hard, though. You need to copy the MP3 file to a PS3 compatible USB, then copy it to your PS3's storage, then download the edit from PSN. Overall: 10 1000s of hours playing edits, and I don't regret a second of it. Seriously, the skill ceiling is extremely high here, from Easy to Extreme, and all the insane fanmade charts. Even with the release of Megamix+, I think this is the best way to make and play custom project diva content. |
