Based on a comic book series, Dinosaurs For Hire produces some of the coolest looking bosses and mid-bosses, an overdose of things to kill and you can do it all with one/two of three dinos. Battle through many levels to get to the end (even as far as it may seem).
Graphics: 7 I can't say it has the best. It's as average as a Genesis game can get during the mid-90's. Most bosses are pretty elaborate but, again, it's average. Sound: 4 The background music gets really monotonous at times and you can become bored easily by this factor. There is always the "mute" button on your screen. Gameplay: 7 Shoot and kill, shoot and kill. Die, die, die. That's the name of the game. Try not to die (of course). By the way if you play the game on easy, you can only do 1/3 of the levels. Normal isn't hard at all. Also, another good thing about this game, is that you can fire diagnaly and crouching. Plus, you can perform a stomp attck if you jump and hold down. Overall: 8 I played this one frequently for the console and I enjoyed killing lots of things (in the game). Give the game a shot, turn down the music when it becomes irratent, and use the T Rex because he's the easiest to use. Trust me on this one, I know the game may be pretty obscure, the title kind of a turn off for game players. Really though, who does not like shoot-em-up games? |
