I've been a fan of the TimeSplitters series since it came out. Clearly, being a heavily inspired Goldeneye game, this title became more grounded and the name they chose, it truly fits. This game is almost future proofed and playing it is still a charm.
Graphics: 8 The graphics for its time look great and honestly push the boundaries of the lower spec console of the 5th generation. While not the greatest, it doesn't look bad at all and the art style is the cherry on top. Sound: 10 The music is supplied by Graeme Norgate, Goteki, and Christian Marcussen. There's not nearly as many tracks that are memorable that were in the previous TimeSplitters games. But man, it sounds so good! The sound design is mainly full of stock sounds and screams, so expect to recognize a few, but they're all full of charm and greatness! Gameplay: 10 The gameplay is one of a kind, and many games are trying to follow the game's footsteps. The gunplay, the firing, the guns themselves, everything is near perfect and addicting. It's honestly one of the most solid shooters on the platform easily. Overall: 10 Literally Future Perfect. Play this game now, as it is a must for shooter fans and collectors alike! |
