| Another of Konami's classic series of games. As all of their NES games they've done a pretty decent job with this one. The graphics are pretty well done especially the grass and animation. The only downside is that it's so hard and there's about a million more like this one. They're all basically the same!
Graphics: 9 The graphics are good, but you can really see some that's better on the NES. It's much better then some River City Ransom to name one and Midway's classic NARC. Sound: 7 Again it's pretty nice but there are some that's better. It's sound effects are pretty good. I just wish that there was some better music and more music in fact. Gameplay: 8 It would be a perfect ten if it wasn't so hard! The levels could use variety and there could be more enemies other then the average grunt. For some reason they don't even shoot! Overall: 7 If the game wasn't so hard and music a bit better this one could have easy got a ten from me. Well done Konami with this classic NES game! :). |

| this a classic a one of a kind (well kinda). There is a hunderd games like this one, U run and shoot, and thats about it, but there is no way that is game can even be comparded to those games. This one is the best bay far. There are power ups that change your gun from lazers to fire to spread. There are a wide range of bad guys to kill. So what makes this game different well i don't know or can't say but there is an element of fun that only this game has. Hard levels and fun bosses to kill. The sound: i usaly don't care about the sound at all. But this one has some killer sound that will stick in your head. this is a must to anyone that likes nes games at all. |

| This game definitely falls into the 'nostalgia' category for me. The gameplay is amazing and the action doesn't stop. Without a doubt, one of my favorite games ever. The translated Japanese version of this called 'Gryzor' is even better. It features scenes between each level as well as graphical enhancements.
