This is perhaps the best fighting game for the NES. Choose a robot and clash with the evil robots on your way to be the best.

For NES the graphics are pretty good. The animation is incredibly smooth, assuming you don't mind the Vector-Man type characters. The special attacks don't look goofy, and I am forced to wonder why a game this far ahead of it's time never seemed to make it to America's stores.

Nothing special, but not horrible either. You won't be distracted, but odds are you won't be humming the background music the next day.

Incredible. The wonder of this game is how smooth the characters move and fight. There are even step-by-step tutorials to teach you how to do all the moves. The first round of the game is collecting various themed robots by fighting them, and the second stage is taking on all manner of other themed robots. The only complaint I have is that you can't collect new robots as the game progesses, but this is just a minor point.

As far as I can tell, this is the best fighting game that ever game out on NES. The two-player option gives a kind of pre-Street Fighter 2 feel, and because it is robots betting the crap out of one another it isn't technically a ""violent"" game. Check it out.

No... really... check the thing out.
