This is an amazing game for the NES and an amazing Spider-Man game in all. I even like it more than Spider-Man The Movie Game for Playstation 2, Nintendo GameCube, and XBOX!

Graphics: 10
The graphics are great!

Sound: 10
I love the music, its been stuck in my head for days!

Gameplay: 10
It is so fun trying to see how long you can swing without falling on the ground and I know its pretty hard, but it just adds to the fun, though the N64 and PSX Spider-Man games are better than this.

Overall: 9
Great game, everyone, even not Spider-Man fans should try it! I consider it much more fun than the PS2 game, but less fun than the N64 game.

I really suggest you try this game.

Quite unique, yet disappointing, LJN has again ruined another Marvel creation. This time it's not so bad.

Graphics: 7
The graphics look pretty lame, but have a nice cartoony look the first time. The backgrounds are still, having no movement. But this sort of helps the player know when there's a moving object, like the canisters, falling leaves, rats, on so on. Yet, mines are still difficult to notice. Other than that, there's nothing to say. Too bad this game wasn't made in 1990.

Sound: 7
The sound FX are terrible, but apt, but the music is pretty good. Actually, there are only about 5 different tracks in this game: The intro, Level 1, Level 2, Stage Complete, & Game Over.

Gameplay: 4
In the first stage you will find a key, the second level dynamite, the third infared goggles, and for the rest of the stages there are absolutely no interesting items like these.

The controls take awhile to get used to, but that's not too much of a problem. It's nice, because Spiderman can web swing, climb up walls and buildings, and while swinging can do a 360 Degree circle! The real reason why this game received a terribly low score was because there were a few problems: if standing still, and the player presses left then right quickly (or right then left), Spiderman will be running in the opposite direction! It's also hard to jump and climb up objects, because Spiderman must be standing at the precise position.

Overall: 6
With a moderate replay value, a glitch in the controls, a small amount of BGM, and no real ending, Spiderman: Return Of The Sinister Six doesn't quite cut it. But that doesn't mean there's no reason to play it, ecpecially if you have an emulator. Download it, beat it, then remove it. Spiderman is fun (and challenging) until it's beaten.

In stage 2, you may not advance to the boss unless you obtain the detonator AND the TNT.

In stage 3, there are zombie-like enemies who will literally drain your energy if you stand in the way.

I hate this game. I love Spidey, but I hate this game. My dad bought this for my birthday back when it came out, and I was soo excited, until I played it for about 10 minutes. The graphics are terrible, especially for a 1992 game. Hell, the graphics are bad compared to many 1985 games. I could almost get past this, since it is a Spider-Man game, but the controls are impossible! And, to this day, I still don't fully understand how the health meter really works. Sometimes you can get hit 20 times and not lose anything, then you'll get hit once and lose half your life. Pathetic. I still own the cart and the manual for collector's sake, but absolutely never play this game. Go put some hours into a Dragon Warrior game, now that's true NES fun. Don't even waste that tiny bit of hard drive space for this game. Blah.
