Ah yes the creative masters of the nintendo world came up with and all inspiring game combining the wonderful world of killer robots and the good ol american baseball game. If you state that there is no one way to increase the enjoyment of baseball you are wrong my friend! This combo of blood thirsty robots with weapons and special features spices up the other wise non violent boring game that we all know and love.

Your line up comes equiped with 4 types of bots. Ya got your normal cyborg which basically is just a metal dude. Then ya got your tank bot. Nothing really specialy about it just its nifty tackle attack. Also ya go your cycle bot which can use its flipping attack to knock the shit out of the opposing team with its "" Tire o' Death "" . Fianlly you have your fly bots. One of the best bots i would guess seeming you can just fly around and smash the piss out of other bots from above.

The special features can aslo help you over run the cyber leauge and hand the asses back to the opposite team. All kinds of stuff like super shots and special hitting gear help you control the game like a pro cyborg ass kicker! There's also engines you can buy for your teamates so they won't resemble a 72 pinto with a rag for a gas cap tearing around the bases. All this stuff plus weapons can be bought during a season to help your little group of pansies take on the big guns.

The weapons are basic. A sword, a gun, and a iron glove will help ya beat the tar out of any little shit that might think he will take an extra base. I may have forgotten the whole explination about the "" Base Wars "". Anytime theres a normal "" out "" situation the game cuts to the battle screen, which in general is just a green backdrop with the robots beating the piss out of one another. Each bot has a totall number of hit points in the game and a number of hit points in one battle. Any damage done in a battle will take off of the totall ( Just like subtraction kiddies ya remeber now ), anywho if ya lose all your totall game hit points your ass blows up and you'll be out of the game. After a game in season mode you can choose if you wanna repair so weiner bot that got creamed in the last game.

Grapics - 8

The batting and battle graphics and totally pimp for a NES baseball game but of course after the ball is hit the graphics go down the crapper.

Sound - 9

Who can't resist the nice refreshing noise of metal being smashed, burnt, and eaten by small radio controled vacum cleaners.

Gameplay - 9

With pitches coming at your face at a good 200 mph its always a difficult task to hit a ball the size of a small puppy's head with a slender stick, but I must say ya get the hang of it. Not to mention that when your pitching ya can make the ball come strait out your ass and stop right before the plate. ( Well not really but I think that would rock! )

Overall - 10

Yes I know many of these NES games already include robots and all kinds of violence but this one touches a special place in my heart which screams out "" Damn that outfielder. He must die for the pain he begot on me! "" Needless to say my heart is one fruity piece of technology. I would like to give a shout out to my buddy Chad who wrote a great review on Super Dodge Ball and conviced me that anything can be done, including that small monkeys can not just live in my house they can share the tub with me too!
