| Combine Donkey Kong Jr. with some math, and this is what you get. The idea looks good on paper, but loses out in execution. I guess this game is supposed to help kids with their math skills, but that becomes a problem once you get to multiplication, division, and longer subtraction: anyone who needs to play this to get better at math is going to need to have paper in order to show that they are carrying a number, and unless you're playing this with a pad and paper, the purpose is defeated. If you want a math primer, get a tutor. If you want nostalga, get Donkey Kong Classics. | |
